What is wrong near my eye?

In the corner of my right eye closest to my nose the vessel on the white of my eye are very red and next their is a little raise film closer to my pupil. My eye is benign of dry and irritated from it but it doesnt hurt and I dont see anything odd.
What could it be. Its not inflamed around it or pink and matted together.What is wrong near my eye?
Sounds similar to you have a pterigium, a benign growth on the sclera or white of the eye. It can be irritating. An ophthalmologist can remove it glibly.
It sounds like a sty.They across the world go away contained by a few days.If it doesn't you may want to see an eye doctor.
