If you are still in dignified school, pay cheque attention and get worthy grades in science and math and swot up how to write a good rag.
Take health occupation classes if your institution offers them.
Be a teen hospital volunteer.
If you can't take into a four year program don't worry, start out at your local community college. The better your GPA the better your probability of getting into the actual nursing program.
A two year nursing degree (ADN) and your RN license will get hold of you hired into almost any entry level nursing living making the same as a BSN within most cases. You can always progress back to institution to get your BSN, MSN, PhD etc... and your employer will most credible pick up the tab!

There are 3 entries into nursing practice. The first is a LPN which is usually more or less 1 yr to 1 1/2. You can be an RN with an associates amount usually from a community college and this usually takes in the region of 2 1/2 yrs to complete. You can also be an RN with a BSN within about 4 yrs. I would emphatically be an RN over an LPN just because you fashion a lot more money and hold more job opportunity. You need to find a program contained by your area an apply. Usually you entail at least a 2.5 GPA to apply and I would pocket science classes like biology and anatomy. You will also have need of other basic classes similar to English and algebra.
