Rinse for a full minute after brushing. Don't rinse it rotten. Wait 30 minutes to eat or drink. Repeat at dark after you brush and hopefully floss too.
You should rinse your mouth before brushing for 30 second. Do this both in the morning and up to that time you go to bed. Do not rinse your mouth next to water after using it, it defeat the purpose.
Read the bottle!! And my dentist said it is ok to rinse a bit after using it! The time that you rinse is when it is doing its job, not after. You probably a moment ago won't want to eat anything or drink anything because of the aftertaste!
