What is the difference within Medicaid and Medicaid fragment D?

I'm writing a research report on the costs of drugs since the passage of the Medicare Prescription Drug Plan, but am have a bit of a hard time finding info on the differences of respectively plan, and also if anyone has pricing comparrisons, i would greatly appreciate it. constituent d is the prescription plan. you must be on regular medicare to get the perscription plan, but it costs extra every month.
Medicaid is welfare. Medicare is for family over 65 or disabled.
